Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Redwood City will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (650) 362-4166. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is pamilyakitchen.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 121 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in Redwood City.
Redwood City is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Redwood City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First time here in our way home, looking for place to eat. Great Filipino food. We had their breakfast and they give big portion .

I ordered brunch delivery from this Filipino spot and went with one of their all-day breakfast plates. It came with garlic rice, salad, pickled vegetables, Filipino-style sausages, and two fried eggs on top. The portion was very generous. Although the Uber delivery was a bit delayed, so the food wasnβt as hot as it should have been when it arrived, it was still tasty and satisfying. I especially enjoyed the garlic rice and the sausages, which were full of flavor. I also ordered lumpia β small Filipino-style spring rolls filled with shrimp and pork. They were crispy, meaty, and very flavorful. A great side addition to the meal. Overall, the food felt comforting and hearty, exactly the kind of meal you enjoy when craving something filling and delicious. Iβd definitely order again and would love to try more of their Filipino specialties next time, especially their pork dishes or barbecue chicken.

I essentially ordered everything the server recommended since it was my first time at this restaurant and he did not disappoint. The pickled vegetables, the empanadas, the beef stew, the pork stew, and most importantly the garlic rice were all delicious. The price is reasonable and the portions are on point. The staff are friendly and everything is clean and well decorated. I'll be coming back here more often.

First time coming here. Food was great! Lots of food for a fair price and all was good. I got the all day breakfast Silog and they cooked the egg perfectly! Their empanadas are good to the point I wanted a whole order and not just a side of it lol. We will definitely be coming back. The papaya salad and pickled veggies are a great complement to the food as well.

I recently tried this modern Filipino spot in Redwood City that opened last April. The space has a simple interior with plenty of seating and a very straightforward, fast-casual ordering system. You just build your meal by choosing a bowl option, or one or two entrΓ©es and pay at the register. βFor your base, you get a choice of white rice, garlic fried rice, or pancit, paired with a wide variety of entrΓ©e options. One quirky detail: if you order the skewers, they give you one and a half rather than the standard one or two, which is something I haven't seen before. Looks like βThey also offer desserts, and I spotted them preparing what looked like halo-halo. Overall, the food is tasty, though the pricing feels a bit on the high side for 2 entrees but portion is ok. Parking is at he back.
